**Act prep session for Science is tonight from 5:30-7pm in CCC and Math is tomorrow from 5:30-7pm in CCC
**The freshmen mentor meetings are tomorrow during academic lab.
**Students need to complete the 5 Essentials Survey this week during academic lab. Third hour teachers have student IDs to complete the survey. The names are listed by grade level and were emailed out. It is a state requirement to take the survey.
**Juniors: Tomorrow juniors will be creating their My ACT accounts. Last name Acheson through Lewis will report to the CCC at 9:05 am--check in 2nd hour first. Last name Livingston through Yenne will report at 12:50 pm--check in 5th hour first. Juniors will need to bring their Chromebooks with them to the CCC.
**National Honor Society Induction is this Thursday at 7 pm in the Memorial Gym. There is a mandatory rehearsal at 5:30 pm in the Memorial Gym for all current members and new inductees. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for friends and family. Dress Code Reminder for New Member and Inductees: Since the NHS Induction is a formal ceremony, please remember to dress accordingly. This event is open to the public so all staff and students are invited to attend.
**Senior cap and gown orders, which may include other items, will be distributed in the courtyard during academic lab this Friday. Balances need to be paid in full to pick up items. If there are questions please stop by the guidance office.
**Students who were on high honor roll 1st semester are eligible for a voucher for two free tickets to a Cardinal baseball game. See Mrs. Hayes in the Guidance Office to pick up the voucher.


The Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois paid a visit to Mr. Beachum's Careers' classes today in the College and Career Center at East Alton-Wood River High School. The students got a first hand look at exciting new careers using virtual reality headsets. Thanks to Cara Lane and Kyle Anderson for talking to the students and showing them some exciting new career experiences.

**EAWR is offering a series of 3 ACT prep sessions for juniors to prepare for the March 26th ACT. Each of the 3 sessions will be offered twice (participating juniors only need to attend one of each) and juniors can sign up in the folder shared by
Mrs. Robinson. If a junior attends one of each session and completes the FAFSA senior year by April 1st, he or she will earn an additional semester exemption 2nd semester of their senior year. Please bring your chromebooks to each of the sessions.
