**The East Alton Recreation Department is sponsoring a community service event this Saturday, May 21st at Lions Park, which is behind the Keasler Complex from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Volunteers will help with supervising kickball games and serving refreshments. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Class of 2023: The sign up for Spirit Club is in the Attendance Center. If you would like to be in Spirit Club next year please be sure to stop by and sign up because we will plan to meet over the summer. Only seniors can be part of this group. Mrs. Robinson is the sponsor so if you have questions please see her.
**The first draft of the semester exemption list was shared on Friday. This list will continue to be updated for attendance (tardies/unexcused absences) and obligations until May 25th. Students on the list have 2 or fewer tardies and no unexcused absences. Students on the list must have a C or better in each class otherwise they will be required to take the final in a class with a D or F. Students on the list can choose to take a final with a C or better to improve a grade. If you are not on the exemption list you will be required to take all finals on May 26th and May 27th. If there are questions please stop by the Attendance Center.

The cafeteria ladies got Car-Vante a Papa John’s pizza for this last week of school.
Cannot wait to see everyone at Norris Dorsey Field today. We will have hot dogs and water available until gone. We will have free giveaways to the first 100 students who arrive from EAWR, East Alton, and Wood River/Hartford.
**There will be a Football Meeting for anyone interested in playing football this upcoming fall in Coach Herron's room E112 during academic lab tomorrow. You MUST get an academic lab pass from Coach Herron to attend.

**Hartford Elementary is looking for volunteers for Saturday, May 14th from 11am-1pm to help with their carnival. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the Attendance Center by Friday.
**If you are in a dual credit class, Lewis and Clark Community College will be here during lunch to hand out bags and t-shirts.

We will have free hot dogs for everyone and lots of free giveaways at tomorrow's baseball game vs. Bunker Hill. 4:30 is first pitch. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
**Any student interested in playing boys soccer this summer and next season for EAWR must attend a preseason meeting today during academic lab. A pass is required to attend. Stop by Coach Lawson's room E211 or have your 3rd hour teacher write you a pass to attend the preseason soccer meeting. Summer and season schedules will be distributed.

**Madison County Transit Summer Youth Passes are available in the Cafe’. From Memorial Day to Labor day, students through 12th grade ride free. If you are interested, grab your free pass while they last.

Tonight‘s graduation ceremony will be outside. The stadium will be open for seating but guests may bring a lawn chair to sit on the football field. Gates open at 7 PM and the ceremony will start at 7:30 PM. Tickets are required for entry.
