**This Wednesday all students will be taking the 5 Essentials Survey during academic lab. This is a requirement from the Illinois State Board of Education that all students must complete. All 3rd hour teachers will have a list of student ID numbers and the ID number is different from your EAWR ID number.
**Starting today, room E121 will be open after school until 3 pm for students to get help and have a quiet place to work. All students are invited to take advantage of this opportunity.
**The King's Dance will be held on Saturday, February 26th. This dance is open to all 9th-12th graders. Guests will also be allowed at the dance, but a guest form must be filled out and turned in by February 18th. Guest forms can be picked up outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels classrooms. Rules for which guests can and cannot attend the dance are listed on the form.
**Student council is selling candy roses to be delivered on Valentine's day. If you would like to purchase a rose, look for the student council member selling during your lunch hour, or see Mrs. Timmins. Roses are $1 each and come with a personalized message.
**On Sunday, Emmanuel Kitchener and Car-Vante Beckwith attended the Special Olympics regional Basketball skills event. The boys tied each other to both earn a Gold medal. Way to go boys!!
