
Next week (Monday, 4/24 through Thursday 4/27) Peer Leadership and Chestnut Health will be sponsoring National Prevention Week as a lead up to prom.
Students will have themed-activities during lunch these days, and the school will also have four dress up days to show support for various prevention causes.

**Seniors: If you have received a scholarship that will not be presented at the Senior Assembly on Wednesday, May 3rd, please stop by the Attendance Center and give the information to Mrs. Dixon so it can be read at the assembly. Also, if you are joining the military after graduation, please give that information to Mrs. Dixon. Only information reported will be read at the Senior Assembly.

**Prom guest forms are available outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Marshall’s rooms. A guest form must be completed for anyone who is not an EAWR student as well as EAWR underclass students that are invited by a junior or senior. Guest forms are due back this Friday.

**There will be a meeting for all seniors during academic lab on Monday the 24th in the auditorium. We will be going over all end of the year and graduation information.
**Seniors attending the Talent Search Field Trip to SIUE will be meeting outside the Attendance Office this morning at 9:00 AM. Please make sure you have completed your permission slips and returned them.
**This year's Spring Musical “Seussical The Musical” is this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 20-22 at 7pm, and April 23 at 2pm in the Auditorium. Tickets may be purchased in advance from Mrs. Guthrie in the office or from any cast or crew member. Advanced tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students K-12. Tickets at the door will be $10 for adults, $7 dollars for students and children 5-11. 4 and under are free. An interpreter for the Hearing Impaired will be provided for the Sunday matinee performance.
**Tomorrow after school, Mr. Gockel is going to have community service available. He needs help putting mulch around the campus. If you need community service and would like to help, please sign up in the Attendance Center today!

8th grade students from LCJH and EAMS visited the high school last Friday and today. Students heard about scheduling, athletics/activities, and toured the campus. We are ready for them to do great things at EAWR.






Today Mrs Timmins, Mr Daniels and EAWR students Kelsey Moore (10th), Madison Holmes (11th), and Madeline Cranmer (11th) participated in Senator Erica Harriss’s Youth Advisory Council at SIUE. They heard from several guest speakers as well as participated in a mock senate committee hearing.

EAWR Thespian Troupe 733 presents Seussical The Musical on Thursday the 20th, Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd at 7 pm. There will also be a Sunday Matinee at 2 pm. Pre-sale tickets are: $7 for adults and $5 for students and children. Pre-sale tickets can be bought from a cast member. Tickets at the door will be $10 for adults and $7 for students and children.
