**Guest forms for the King’s Dance are due back tomorrow.
**Tickets for the King’s Dance will be on sale next week during academic lab and after school from Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance.
**Big Sisters is excited to announce this year’s King of Hearts candidates: Josiah Daniels, Claydon Cathorall, Brayden Elledge, Michael Noeltner, and Tyler Ragusa. Voting will begin today! Look for your favorite candidate’s box in the East Building Courtyard and vote by donating money in the box. The King will be crowned at the King’s Dance Saturday March 8th in the courtyard.
**Attention Seniors--Mrs. Robinson emailed you a Google Form for submitting a Senior Quote to the 2025 Yearbook. Please complete by the end of the day tomorrow. Email Mr. James with any questions.
**Juniors--EAWR will be offering a series of 3 ACT prep sessions to prepare for the March 26th ACT Test. Each of the 3 sessions in the series will be offered twice (you only need to attend one of each) and juniors can sign up in the folder shared by Mrs. Robinson. If a student attends one math, one ELA, and one science session and completes the FAFSA senior year by April 1st, he or she will earn an additional semester exemption (6 absences) the second semester of their senior year, if passing.
**Seniors who need community service hours can sign up in the Attendance Office to help with Parent Teacher Conferences today and tomorrow from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Student Council is hosting a blood drive during the school day on March 5th. You must be 16 or older to donate. If you'd like to make an appointment, see or email Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels.
**The CCC will be closed during academic lab today.
**There is no school this Friday due to parent/teacher conferences. Also, Monday is Casimir Pulaski Day and there is no school. Enjoy your 4-day weekend!


Mandatory spring sport practices begin next Monday. Students must go to EAWR.net and click "Athletic Registration" with a parent to register for the sport in which they want to participate.


After Prom is sponsoring a Dine to Donate fundraiser this Saturday, March 1st at Olga‘s in Alton. Please show the attached flyer to your server.


Congratulations to the students that were recognized at the Renaissance Assembly today for 1st semester achievements. These students worked hard in the classroom, had good grades, no unexcused absences and two or fewer tardies.

Drake's welcome back ceremony today in the courtyard. Thanks to everyone that came to celebrate his state championship and success.











Welcome back Drake!! IHSA 215 1A State Champion!!! Thank you to the Wood River, Hartford, and East Alton fire and police departments for the escort back into town.









Join us today at the Bus Circle and East Building as we welcome back the Champion, Drake Champlin! He is scheduled to arrive by police and fire escort around 1:00 pm.


Join us tomorrow by 1 PM to welcome home our 215 pound 1A State Champ Drake Champlin. We will welcome him back at the bus circle and do a presentation in the East Building Courtyard around 1pm. Congrats again, Drake, Coach Donohoo, and Coach Lankford on a tremendous season and career at EAWR.

We are so proud of Drake Champlin! The time to welcome back Drake at school will be announced a bit later as we work out the details with his departure from Champaign tomorrow morning. Watch for a posting later tonight or early tomorrow for our welcome back for our CHAMPION!
