Lifetouch will be here from 7:30-11:30am next Friday, October 21st, for Picture Retake Day. Students, faculty, and staff who did not get pictures taken in September, please take time on the morning of the 21st to go to the auditorium for retakes. Also, if you are unhappy with the photos from our first picture day, this is your opportunity to get new ones. Order forms are available in the Main Office.
**Seniors, you are required to have the Meningitis Vaccine by tomorrow. Please turn in proof of the vaccine to the school nurse by tomorrow.
Freshmen, physicals and proof of current immunizations are also required and need to be turned in to the nurse by tomorrow. Students who do not have the required paperwork turned in by tomorrow will be excluded from school until it is turned in.
**The Wood River Police Department and Wood River Fire Department will be on campus next Wednesday the 19th to meet with 11th and 12th graders in the auditorium during academic lab to go over safety drill information. They will then meet with 9th and 10th graders on Thursday the 20th, same place/same time.
**The Village of Hartford is hosting a Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 22nd. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kristie Luebbert at 618-792-8820. All hours volunteered will count toward the community service graduation requirement.
**Booster club is looking for volunteers for tomorrow night's volleyball game and football game. Volunteers for volleyball are needed from 4-7 and football from 630-930. If interested please sign up in the attendance center.
**There are a few free tickets left for the Rotary Chili Dinner tomorrow before the football game in the Main Office. They are on a first come, first served basis so if you would like one, please come to the Main Office.
**Here are the themes this week: Today’s volleyball at Roxana--pink night, Tomorrow’s football home game --oil spill (wear black) There will not be a tailgate because of senior night starting so early. Please plan to arrive by 6:20 to watch senior night. Also be sure to wear maroon and gold to school tomorrow and we will have a short pep assembly at the end of the day.
**Big Sisters- There is a meeting tomorrow during academic lab in room E121. If you have any questions, see Mrs. MIller or Mrs. Parmentier.
**The First United Methodist Church is looking for volunteers to do inside and outside clean-up this Saturday, from 7am-3pm. If interested please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church is hosting a 5th quarter after tomorrow’s football game until 11pm. There will be a bonfire, snacks, games, inflatables and music. This is a free event for all students 7th-12th grades.

Congratulations to the 170 sophomore through senior students that were recognized at the Renaissance Assembly today. These students worked hard in the classroom last semester, had good grades, no unexcused absences and two or fewer tardies. Pictured are some of the students that won prizes at the assembly today.

**Tomorrow is the assembly to honor Renaissance winners. The assembly will be held at 1:00 in the Auditorium. All students involved have been notified and teachers should all have a list of the Renaissance students.

**The room assignments for the PSAT testing for juniors tomorrow was shared by Mrs Robinson. All juniors will report directly to their testing room tomorrow morning. Testing will end at 11:40. Juniors who have A lunch will go to lunch following testing then to the remainder of 4th hour. Juniors that have B lunch will go to class after testing and take their regular B lunch. Reminder that there may be no phones in the testing room. All students that have Mrs Ulmer, Mr Beachum, Mrs Catlin, Ms Boyd, or Mrs Parmentier please see the Room Changes tab on the shared document for the room assignment hours 1st-3rd tomorrow.

The EAWR faculty participated in Madison County Institute at Collinsville High School. Ms Gardner, Ms Boyd and Mrs Miller were also presenters at the institute today.
We have an exciting weekend ahead in Oiler Athletics! Football looks to go to 6-1 on the season, boys soccer competes in the regional tomorrow and we host our annual cross country invitational tomorrow night. Lets' Go Oilers!
These eight student athletes are among the top 12 seniors academically. We love that our students are embracing the student athlete mentality and excelling in the classroom.
