**All juniors and some reclassified sophomores will be taking the PSAT next Wednesday, October 12th. Students will report directly to their testing room (the room document will be shared in Google Drive). Students need to have #2 pencils and a calculator for testing. If there are questions, please contact your guidance counselor in the Guidance Office.
**Seniors, you are required to have the Meningitis Vaccine by October 15. Please turn in proof of the vaccine to the school nurse before the deadline.
Freshmen, physicals and proof of current immunizations are also required and need to be turned in to the nurse by October 15th. Students who do not have the required paperwork turned in by October 15 will be excluded from school until it is turned in.
**Volleyball is home tonight--freshmen at 5 pm, JV at 6 pm and varsity around 7 pm--theme is tie dye.
**Anyone interested in bowling this year needs to meet in Mr. Herron's room, E112 for a meeting today during academic lab. Please get a pass in advance from the attendance center or from Mr. Herron.
**If you would like to volunteer to help with Toys for Tots this Saturday, October 8th starting at 10 am please go to the Wood River VFW on Edwardsville Road. Volunteers will be bagging toys to prepare for Christmas present distribution. All hours volunteered will count towards the community service requirement.
**The Village of Hartford is hosting a Fall Fun Fest on Saturday, October 22nd. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kristie Luebbert at 618-792-8820. All hours volunteered will count toward the community service graduation requirement.
There will be no school tomorrow, Friday, October 7th due to Madison County Institute. Also there will be no school on Monday, October 10th in observance of Columbus Day.

**Lost and found is located in two different places. Jackets, hoodies and any clothing related is located outside of the Oiler Cafe’. Things like keys and jewelry will be taken to the attendance center.
**Attention Peer Leadership members: Today’s meeting has been postponed. Please check Google Classroom for more information.
**There will be a senior grade level meeting in the auditorium during academic lab to discuss senior year, college apps, scholarships, the college and career fair, etc. All seniors need to attend.

Thank you to the WRPD and WRFD on training the EAWR faculty and staff at our annual school safety meeting.
Huge win tonight by the Oilers to move to 5-1 on the season. Great job by the 16 seniors and the rest of the Oilers and coaches. Also on JFL night we wanted to thank all the JFL coaches that coached the senior players 5th-8th grade as Junior Oilers.
Great job by the EAWR, EA, and WRH bands during the halftime performance.
Huge crowd at Memorial Stadium tonight. The Oilers are leading 14 to 0 over Columbia with 7 minutes left in the second quarter.

**The Oiler Booster Club is looking for volunteers tonight for the home football game to help with concessions from 6:30pm-9:30pm. If you’d like to volunteer please sign up in the attendance center.
**Today we will have a tailgate from 6:15-6:40 pm and we are having pizza. All EAWR staff and families are invited to attend. The theme for the game is Minions.
